Why Recycle?
Recycling helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions by reducing energy consumption. Using recycled materials to make new products reduces the need for virgin materials. This avoids greenhouse gas emissions that would result from extracting or mining virgin materials. Not to mention reducing the strain on our wildlife by reusing resources,saving energy and reducing the amount of land that needs to be cleared for mining or drilling operations. Lithium batteries & the risk of fires
Lithium batteries can cause fires whether they are new, used, defective or damaged. Batteries should never be thrown in garbage or recycling as these products can leach toxic materials into the soil.
